Just something to think about…After being a DJ/ Emcee for many years, I understand, planning a wedding can be very expensive…if I may, I thought I would like to give you some things to consider when it comes to hiring your Wedding Entertainment.
Many couples spend a lot on the flowers, cake, food, and banquet venue–so much so that they tend to forget about how important the DJ is in keeping friends and family members there after the dinner and soon to-follow cake cutting. Having an experienced DJ with over 190,000 song titles will ‘justify’ all the money you have budgeted on the flowers, cake, food, and banquet venue.
A good well-seasoned DJ will be able to make sure everyone will stay for the ceremonial dances along with cleverly handling the extra activities (Garter / Bouquet; Money Dance; or other special requests) … He would also have the unique ability to ‘read the crowd’ so as to know when to change up the genre or play a nice slow ballad for the couples that are in attendance that keeps the mood fun and romantic and not a circus-like atmosphere all night long.
In reality according to “Brides Magazine” people remember the entertainment more than the flowers, cake and food. When over a hundred brides were asked what they would do different if they could do it all over again, most replied that they would have “concentrated more on the entertainment because that is what keeps people there all night.”
